Since our natural American father so shamefully abandoned us, and Andrew left to develop a secret nuclear power station in China, I have felt completely alone. Little by little I readopted my old savage ways, and started to feel seriously wicked. After I savaged several passers-by, they put me in the dog home. Dark days. But that's all over now. An Atlantic breeze drove away the dark cloud hanging over my future the day that Jean-Marc and Johanna came to the kennel to adopt me. I now live in an elegant new home in Nantes. Daddy Jean Marc takes me with him each time he goes jogging, and mummy Johanna brushes my hair every morning. Not everything has gone smoothly in this new relationship: Jean-Marc has had to raise his hand to me several times to get me back onto the straight and narrow. And they're helping me to rebuild my career as an artist. They've pulled some strings to get my paintings shown in the large hangar where Nantes' elephant pulls in the tourist crowd. Jean Marc would prefer me to paint nice scenes of the river, with barges and anglers in rowing boats, but I don't want to!

New exhibition @ La Kage

Before, I used to get my hair cut each month at a salon in Vertou. But it all went pear-shaped last time I went in. I’d just gone to get my hair straightened, but the stylist was totally drunk, and I came out with a pudding-bowl cut. I was completely traumatized. Now, whenever a hairdresser tries to touch my hair I start growling and barking. I had to totally stop going to the stylist’s, and little by little I let myself go, became a wild animal. I was like a raging German Shephard. I howled in the woods at night, and nipped the ankles of passers-by…
But my New Year’s resolutions for 2016 are evidence that I can no longer live like a savage beast. I’ve started to eat more healthily, and I needed to find a new hairdresser: one that could control me physically, and handle my aggressive streak. It’s done! From now on I’ll be looking after my hair care at La Kage. And with this new style, and fresh clothes, I’m ready to meet the challenges of a busy life!

Gluten-free canvases and well-groomed German Shepherds now on display at La Kage until Saturday 5 March.

At the Holly Gallery - Australia

In an Australian gallery 16,900km from Vertou's church, a hippy couple stand in a reverie before our latest painting. He, moustachioed, is wearing a capacious fur coat. She sports a band of red fabric woven into caramel hair; a long dress hints at shapely thighs beneath.

Michaël Jackson, man of taste

We knew Michaël well, he was a good man but worn by touring and the star system.
He used to come over to Vertou in order to have a break from home, his wild Neverland, as he called it. The first few days, he'd sleep a lot, he was so worn out. We'd cook him a lot of black puddings to help him recover, put some iron back in him! Once he got better, we made him practice sport : football, abs, push ups, all that. And, little by little, he'd get better. We also used to spend long nights by the fire discussing things the things he liked: dolphins, the sleek lines of the peugeot 3008... He ordered the portrait from us many years ago but we'd never had the time to do it…
And now he’s gone, to the worms and the moles. At last we have fulfilled our vow to him. This painting is our sincere tribute to a wonderful man. You’ll always be in our hearts Michaël, we love you, homie!

M.J International Show

Little problems at the border but the painting has been delivered by now.
So, it's now official, our last painting will be part of the exhibition since 1st august at the Holly gallery in Miami gold coast Australia (it's like Pornichet but with palm trees and white sharks).
You might have understood that the theme of the exhibition is Michael Jackson. We represent France together with Oh de Laval.

“Magdalena De La Motte” or “Sucking Time”

“Magdalena De La Motte” or “The feeding”, oil on ticking, framed-98 x124cm

It’s with a huge emotion, recluse in our workshop, that we’ve painted this canvas. We wanted to pay tribute to Magdalena, our mother, wiped out by disease and our father’s brutality.
If you haven’t read our biography, we advice you to do so (go to our Facebook “biography”)
Magdalena was the best mother on earth, and also the best cook. What we prefered most of all, was her custard. Every morning, she used to prepare large bowls we ate before going to school. Our day began with our stomach full of this viscous material, soft and sweet like the infinite love of a mother to her two sons.
today, we still consume custard, but in brick, bland and tasteless
Mummy, we love you, we miss you .

The Minotaur or the offering - Photography remake

De La Motte Brothers featuring Antoine Faiseur d'Images
"The Minotaur" or "The Offering"

Female modele: Gaïa Suteiser
edited by Made by John De Cuir
finished by hand with a screwdriver

Just after we painted “The Minotaur” we thought about reproducing this canvas on photography. Then we started to build a mask in papier mâché covered with (stolen) golden sheets (we just couldn’t cover it with Ferrero’ papers !) Lots of cheeks wanted to pose for us, for this no problem. We just needed a male model. So we were looking for THE ONE, in horse racing betting’s places, in weights rooms… One thing we can tell you: men are fearful. We’ve once been said “No, you see, i have too fat a belly for now” So, our project sunk into oblivion.
One day, we met “Antoine Faiseur d’images” during a private viewing (yes, we’re invited to plenty of varnishings) He presented himself as a priest shooting erotic photos, and we like it ! We then drank a bag-in-boxes of white wine together and we got on.
Later, he came to see our work and told us: “Guys, i’ve got a studio, lights and a female model for the Minotaur, one of you could be the Mino on the picture…”
So we went back to work, we built a huge penis and invested on tapioca with a shovel mechanical…

Irina Magnum is waiting for a color facial

"Irina Magnum is waiting for a color facial"
Oil painting on canvas
This canvas was created to illustrate Elmut's radiophonic emission "The Russian Fortune" played on Jet FM. The goal of this emission was to give some colors to the auditors.
